This client had an existing railing that was dated and did not meet code. We were able to make sections that would be dropped in and fastened right in to the existing posts and top railing. During the fabrication of the entire project we had to space the sections out to make sure we carried the lines of the branches with the thickness of the posts in mind. This helped the entire piece flow and look natural to the eye over the entire 44 ft of railing. The client has a beautiful little girl and so I forged several little bugs for her to look for in the branches, included are several butterfly's, dragonfly's, ladybugs, beetles, This project was a ton of work but turned out really well.
