This candle holder/stand starts at the base created from a disc off of a late 1800's disc harrow I repurposed from the scrap yard. The vine are made from 3/8 round rod that has a very heavy hammered texture. The "leaves" we will use that term for lack of a better one, this particular shape caught my eye and it needed to get out of my head, so here it is- the dragoon leaves ( I just like that word so had to use it), were cut from 10 gauge sheet, hammer textured, and shaped on the anvil by hand.
The piece has been copper plated and then aged with a patina and clear coated.
